Terms and Conditions

1. The Accelerator program/ competition runs from 1 July 2019 until 30 June 2020.
2. The WesBank Accelerator Programme is run on a Regional basis, aligned with WesBank's Regions (Gauteng Region, Eastern Region, Eastern Cape Region, Western Region, Northern Metro Region, KZN Region, Northern Rural Region, Western Cape Region, Free State and Northern Cape Region) and does not correspond with the geographic split of the provinces.  Dealers are segmented in relation to WesBank's Regional structure.
3. This competition will be run using accelerator scores
4. Your Accelerator score is calculated cumulatively over the competition period, looking at market share, conversion on first time approved, net units financed (This is the total number of deals written less total number of repossessions) and a percentage of repeat customers across financed companies. Each measurement will have a 25% weighting.
5. Dealers with the highest accelerator scores will be the winners for their region
6. This competition is only open to WesBank approved non-franchise dealers throughout the competition period.
7. No new dealers can be added to the programme after the end of each quarter within the year (January to March, April to June, July to September, October to December)
8. Dealer codes that are blocked or revoked during the course of the competition period, will be removed from the programme.
9. Winners will be announced quarterly, and regional managers decide on the prize
10. WesBank reserves the right to make changes to the value proposition which includes Reward and Recognition elements that will be disclosed throughout the course of the competition period.
11. The reward and recognition elements are determined by each of WesBank's regions and may differ from Region to Region.
12. The prize is not refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
13. The prize may be transferred to another person employed by the winning dealership, upon approval of FirstRand Bank Limited.
14. For the purpose of this competition, determination of the winners by FirstRand Bank Limited acting through its WesBank division shall be final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.
15. All qualifying entrants shall be responsible for their own income tax and the amounts payable and shall make all arrangements with their employer current or otherwise. The winning entrant indemnifies FirstRand Bank Limited and all of its divisions against any claims in this regard.
16. Should you qualify you hereby indemnify the owners, directors, employees and agents of FirstRand Bank Limited and any of its divisions, against any loss or damage howsoever caused as a result of and/or due to the Incentive Trip and/or the reward. FirstRand Bank Limited and all of its divisions will not be liable for any loss of life/property or damages suffered on the Incentive Trip and those who accept the invitation do so entirely at their own risk.
17. FirstRand Bank Limited and all of its divisions will under no circumstances compensate, in cash or kind, qualifiers who are unable to participate in the promotion and any decision is this regard is solely in the discretion of FirstRand Bank Limited.
18. FirstRand Bank Limited reserves the right to revise any of these terms and conditions, dates and destination without prior notice due to any unexpected or prevailing circumstances.
19. WesBank's decision regarding any issue with the competition will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
20. WesBank reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions at any time.
21. By entering into this competition, the entrant gives WesBank the authorisation to publish the winner's name, surname, images, including photographs, in the media for promotional purposes without any liability to WesBank.
22. The Judges' decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
23. Promotion disclaimer: WesBank, its associated companies, agents and contractors assume no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss, damage, death, personal injuries, defamation, invasion of privacy or claims based on publicity rights arising in connection with this promotion.
24. Cancellation: WesBank reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this competition. In such an event, where the initiative is cancelled or suspended, all Customers agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of the initiative and acknowledge that they have no recourse against WesBank, their employees, agents, partners, suppliers, sponsors or promoters.
25. System Failure: No member of WesBank is responsible for lost, delayed, misdirected, internet or computer malfunctions, errors in transmission or any condition beyond the control of WesBank which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted.
26. Any violation or attempt to violate any of the above terms and conditions will result in immediate disqualification.
27. Errors and Omissions accepted.
